Our roots can be traced back to the 1980's when a young Spencer Law started his apprenticeship as a technician in the heavy goods vehicle sector.
Even at that early age, Spence was driven by his own watchwords -
"To be the best at what I do."
By his mid twenties, Spence started to specialise in diagnostics for refuse vehicles; he soon realised that to stay ahead in the RCV aftermarket you not only had to be good but you needed what he had always had - a 'passion' for the business and the desire to gain and maintain an ultimate working knowledge of all types and brands of RCV equipment.
After many successful years at the 'front-line' of RCV diagnostics and repairs, and by the new millennium, Spence teamed up with Jeff Mason.
Jeff, whose background lies in commercial vehicle engineering and has worked in the waste industry since the early 1990's moved into a general management role with a strong accent on financial control.
In recent times, and recognising the importance of a fast and efficient parts service, Jeff has taken responsibility for this key area of our business portfolio.

We soon outgrew our Westerleigh premises where the Wastetec story began and relocated here to Cam in Gloucestershire to a purpose-built site strategically located near to the M5.
From here, we have quickly expanded to provide a diverse, dedicated service including vehicle breakdown cover and VOR repairs, new and used vehicle sales, contract maintenance, refurbishments, vehicle hire and nationwide spare parts supply, effectively, anything concerning a refuse collection, waste handling or commercial vehicle.
